In 1853 The Onley Arms was constructed on the foundations of The Black Lion, which had suffered a devastating fire.
The new pub was built for Albert Earle, whose family were servents to Onley Saville Onley, the squire of the village of Stisted.

The Onley Arms is the hub of the village. It's current Landlord and Lady, James and Yvonne Whitwell have created a pub which hosts many events such as football matches, rounders and Petanque.

It serves the community by hosting charity events, special occassions, Quiz nights, Bingo nights and popular Live Performances from local bands and musicians.

With a beautiful pub garden for the Summer and a roaring log fire in the Winter, The Onley Arms always has something to offer come rain or shine.
